School Instrument Rental Information:

 

• All instruments for grade 6 band can be rented from the school.  It is our goal to have enough instruments available for rent in grade 6, 7, and 8; at this time, however, we have enough instruments for the grade 6’s and the larger instruments for grade 7 and 8’s.  Until we have enough instruments to meet the entire school’s demand, instruments that must be rented or purchased privately for grades 7 and 8 are: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. The cost of renting a school instrument is $75. 

 

• If you need to secure your own instrument, it can be bought or rented from Long and McQuade Music in Lethbridge (formerly Note-able Music).  St. John’s Music from Calgary supplies the Music Court at the mall and the Bandstand in Edmonton is another great music store that travels down to our area on a regular basis.  All of these stores carry quality brands of instruments.  Please contact me if you have any questions regarding instrument rental/purchase.  Most parents choose a new or used rent to own package from a music store, but some choose to buy a new or used instrument outright.  If you have an instrument already for your son or daughter to use, then that choice would also work great!
